Less than two hours after Saturday's CBS/National Journal presidential debate concluded, Michele Bachmann's campaign accused CBS News of deliberately keeping her questions to a minimum and planning a biased debate. If she thinks she was getting a raw deal from the press before, just watch what happens now.
Bachmann's campaign sent reporters a screenshot of an email exchange where John Dickerson, a reporter for Slate who was just named political director for CBS News, says Bachmann wouldn't be getting many questions.
Dickerson was responding to an email sent to CBS News staffers discussing the possibility of booking Bachmann for a webcast interview. The initial email notes that Alice Stewart, Bachmann's spokeswoman, was included in the email chain, but Dickerson appeared not to have noticed when he sent his reply to the group.
"Okay let's keep it loose though since she's not going to get many questions and she's nearly off the charts in the hopes that we can get someone else," Dickerson wrote.
Bachmann has been struggling in the polls since her peak in August, and is currently hovering around 4 percent.

I don't know why any of the GOP hopefuls participate in these debates; they're run by the lefty media. And after watching tonight I have a real dislike for Scott Pelley: the poster boy for smugness.
I must say Romney held his own; and Gingrich was compelling. The rest are just not up for the job of POTUS. And I wish Ron Paul would just go fishing...like really fishing and stay away from politics forever.
