Newt Plans to Win By Attacking Capitalism

The former speaker and champion of conservatism seems to have badly lost his way with his attacks on capitalism and Mitt Romney's role in big business:
Bloomberg obtained a copy of a 28-minute film set to be released tomorrow in South Carolina bankrolled by supporters of Newt Gingrich.

The film depicts Mitt Romney as a financier "more ruthless than Wall Street" and a son of privilege responsible for laying off thousands of workers. It attacks Romney's record as the CEO of Bain Capital and highlights the stories of workers who lost their jobs after the companies they worked for were acquired by Bain.

Says a laughing Romney: "Make a profit. That's what it's all about, right?"
I can't figure out if Newt's role is to attack Romney or make we want to vote for him?

Rush played an anti-Romney ad produced by the Gingrich campaign on the radio today. He said that all the commercial is missing is a tag at the end saying "I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this message."

I'm not excited about Romney, but Newt has turned himself into a newt, making Mitt look much better.
