The Hide Trail

Found a little hidden gem in Dana Point today.  We ate lunch at The Shwack Beach Grill (good food at a good price, by the way), and walked down to the end of Amber Lantern street and discovered The Hide Trail, a cliffside walking trail that overlooks Dana Point Harbor.  It got it's name because it's the approximate location of an old Indian trail where the indigenous locals would throw cow hides off the bluffs to the sailors down below.

The trail runs along behind some very nice blufftop homes:



We'll have to go back another time and do a little more exploring.
