Energy Photos of the Day

Contrast and compare - first photo was taken on April 26, 2006 of Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) before a press conference in which they blasted President Bush for high gas prices:
This second shot was taken yesterday at an Exxon station near the White House. What's missing? Democrats protesting the president.

Look at the picture of the Democrats, and look at what Obama said yesterday:

"They head down to the gas station; they make sure a few cameras are following them and then they start acting like we've got a magic wand and we will give you cheap gas forever if you just elect us. Every time. Been the same script for 30 years. It's like a bad rerun."

UPDATE: the prices at Congressional Exxon as of Friday morning are
Reg 4.29
Mid 4.39
Prem 4.59
