Yesterday we ran a Katrina Relief post at the top of the blog all day in the hopes that the readers would contribute to the cause. As of the latest count, we were one of 1,379 blogs that participated in this event. So far a total of $291,245 has been raised through these efforts, and my hat's off to N.Z. Bear, Hugh Hewitt and Glenn Reynolds who put the whole thing together.
I saw in interesting post by one blogger who did a little comparison between what the lefty blogs were talking about yesterday, and what the conservative blogs were discussing. The differences were pretty stark, and you can see it here. Bottom line: Lefties - Blame Bush, Conservatives - Money for Victims. Tell me again which is supposed to be the compassionate party?
Don't stop giving. You can scroll down on the right side of this page and you'll find the links to various relief agencies promoted by members of the So Cal Bloggers' Alliance. Any one of them will use your money well in the relief effort.
