McKinney in a Runoff?

Despite refusing to appear at any of the candidate debates and generally being flakier than the Pillsbury Doughboy, it appears that Cynthia McKinney still managed to confuse 47% of the voters in her Georgia district into voting for her. However, that's not enough to avoid a runoff:
As election results poured in, U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney and Democratic challenger Henry C. “Hank” Johnson, Jr. appeared headed for a runoff in the 4th District race.

With 80 percent of the vote counted, McKinney had 47 percent of the vote to Johnson’s 45 percent.

I wonder if Mr. Johnson will be able to get McKinney to show up for the debates during the runoff. She should be a little concerned about not winning the race outright. Those people who voted for the other candidates are probably less likely to move to McKinney than to Johnson, so she may be starting out the runoff campaign down by several points.

Updated story here.
