A Shift Toward the GOP?

I don't have a lot of faith in polls since I don't think they're turnout models are very accurate, but if they mean anything, a drop from a Dem 14 point lead to a 6 point lead in the Washington Post generic poll could mean that GOP voters are coming home, and could mean that the Kerry kerfuffle had a bigger impact than the media and the Dems had hoped.

Check out TKS for some good analysis of the numbers. The media spin is still firmly on the side of a Dem blowout, but I think things will be much closer than anyone thinks. My projections will be posted this evening.
