I enjoy checking out routes I haven't ridden, so I'm going to ride out to San Bernardino on one train, head to Los Angeles on another, and take a third back to South Orange County. Probably 170 miles altogether, but thanks to cheap commuter rates, you can do it for less than $40.
Now I know I've got to be careful because trains have been gobbling up guys in their 50's right and left this last week, but I'd like to think I know what I'm doing. I'm also staying out of the first car.
If you want to follow along, I'll post updates on Twitter at this site.
