Kill the Pollster!

Rasmussen, the independent polling company that came within tenths of a point of predicting the final vote in 2008, is now under fire because their polling numbers are looking increasingly bad for The One. Don Surber has some of the details:
14. Because President Obama is tanking among likely voters, liberals have blamed Rasmussen Polls rather than blame their unpopular ideas and Politburo-like tactics to pass those unpopular ideas. That brought this observation from Hot Air:

“Lefty blogger Nate Silver (because he knows better) adds a new spin — Rasmussen may not be biased, but news outlets that cite Rasmussen too much may be biased. Yet during the 2008 campaign, Silver rated Rasmussen one of the most accurate pollsters.”

The whine from the Left indicates a win on the Right.

GOOD.

15. Rasmussen: 42% want Obamacare. 52% oppose it.

Rasmussen: 47% approve, 52% disapprove of President Obama.

Rasmussen: Only 29% say America is headed in the right direction.

The Scorekeeper can see why the Left wants to kill the messenger.

GOOD.

Sour grapes. Their guy is tanking so the left has to blame the messenger.

Like Fox News, Rasmussen has their fingers on the real pulse of America and that's what's scary to the left.

You really don't have to know what the polls are showing, just talk with your neighbors and friends and you will come up with the same or close to the same figures. You don't have to be super smart to figure this one out, however the Left is having considerable difficulty with it.
