Cindy McCain promoting gay marriage. And she wanted to be your first lady...
I wonder what this will do for McCain's re-election bid in Arizona? And frankly, this "NoH8" (No Hate) stuff is pure nonsense. The Proposition 8 campaign to ban gay marriage in California was never about hate. It just shows political and emotional immaturity on the part of those promoting this nonsense.

From what I've heard on FNC, McCain disagrees with Mrs. McCain on this one. Megan (sp?) wholeheartedly agrees though, and has showered her mother with public accolades. As for your comment about us wanting her to be our First Lady, you know, God always has a reason for why He allows things to happen the way He does. I'm not suggesting Cindy McCain is morally equal to Michelle Obama or anything near that. But, I believe I'm beginning to see why He allowed Obama to be elected. If I said that, perhaps, Obama is America's 7.0 earthquake, would you follow my meaning?
Carey Ann, I fully understand what you say and it makes perfect sense. Without BO and his radical agenda, so many people would still be "asleep" yet. The Good Lord does work in mysterious ways.
Gotta say I was rather disappointed in Cindy McCain (big understatement) and Carey Ann's point is well taken. I think a lot of us (personally I was once a gungho McCain supporter) now realize that McCain would not have provided the leadership we wanted.
Obama demonstrates better than anything what "liberalism" does for you. He's the best advertisement for conservatism that one could ask for.
(And, yes, God does work in mysterious ways....)
